Caroler’s Cocoa

HOT CHOCOLATE

The Caroler’s Cocoa brings out the kid in everyone. One sip and you’ll want to fa la la la la with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 3 Cups Whole Milk
  • 6 Ounces Semisweet Chocolate, Finely Chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Dash Salt
  • Miniature Marshmallows, Whipped Cream or Cinnamon Sticks (optional)

Directions

  1. Bring water to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk cocoa powder until no lumps remain, then add milk and return to a simmer.
  3. Whisk in chocolate and sugar and cook, whisking frequently, until mixture is smooth and creamy and chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide hot chocolate among mugs. Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
