This inaugural list honors agencies large and small from all over the world whose industry presence is on the rise. This distinction is the result of Motion’s significant growth over the past three years.
Getting to the place we are now is over 13 years in the making. When I launched Motion in 2006, I went to great lengths to ensure my focus was client-centric, doing whatever was needed to help clients reach their business goals.
This single-minded approach was well received, and I started to grow my firm immediately. I’ve always been meticulous in maintaining the integrity of the work I produce on behalf of my clients. So as new clients came on board and I started to build a full-time staff, I wanted to make sure that we weren’t just producing great work but that my employees were also happy, dedicated to the firm and proud of the work we were delivering.
Fast forward 13 years and my core approach to the business remains the same: putting clients first and caring deeply about the people I work with. Today, I am surrounded by over 60 immensely talented colleagues who have been resilient through the years and remained true to our core values of embracing opportunities and remaining nimble while always keeping our entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and integrity.
My staff and the Motion brand have attracted some of the best client partners in the country who embody many of the same values of Motion. These loyal, smart, sophisticated clients respect our work and our team as much as we respect them. They push us to “better our best,” helping us strive to be the best independent agency we can be.
And so, I say “thank you” to Motion’s clients and staff. I’m honored and humbled to work side-by-side with such a remarkable group of individuals as we provide top-notch work to our client partners who have not only helped Motion grow but also make me love coming to work every day. To grow our agency and make Adweek’s list is simply amazing, but to grow while loving what we do makes the last 13 years worth every minute.
